Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what you're agreeing to

Gancio is provided by I.E. BLANKET BYTE (individual entrepreneur), registration ID 305834292, University Street N.17a, Floor 10, Vake district, Tbilisi, Georgia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Gancio you agree to these Terms. If you use Gancio for an organization, you confirm you may accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Who can use Gancio

Gancio is a professional tool. You must be at least 18 and use it for your work or business.

3. Accounts, organizations and teams

• Keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once at the address below if you think someone else is using it.
• Every account has a personal organization. A team organization has an owner and admins who manage members, seats, workspaces and billing; they can see and manage the data in the organization's workspaces, and remove members.
• Members see only the workspaces they have been given access to. Data in a team workspace belongs to the organization, not to the individual member, and stays with the organization when a member leaves.

4. The service

Gancio lets you manage leads, clients, companies, calls, tasks and appointments, import lists, export data, and use AI to read imports and draft messages. Features evolve over time; some are available only on certain plans or are introduced gradually.

5. AI features

• AI output (import mappings, extracted contacts, message drafts, profile suggestions) can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you rely on it: Gancio asks you to confirm imports, and messages are sent only when you send or approve them.
• You are responsible for the messages you send, including AI-drafted ones.
• AI usage counts against your plan's monthly allowances.
• The AI features may only be used for legitimate professional communication. Generating sexual, pornographic or sexually explicit content, or any other content prohibited by section 7, is not allowed.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the data and files you put into Gancio ("your content"). You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide Gancio to you and your team. You confirm you have the right to upload it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Gancio to:

• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or messages that break anti-spam, privacy or e-marketing laws (for example the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules); honour opt-outs and unsubscribe requests;
• break the terms of other services you connect or use alongside Gancio, such as Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn, including their limits on automation and messaging;
• store or process data you have no right to, or special categories of personal data (such as health data) about your contacts unless the law allows it;
• harass, deceive or impersonate anyone, or send unlawful content;
• generate, request or send sexual, pornographic or sexually explicit content with any Gancio feature, including the AI message writer and AI imports; content that sexualizes minors is never allowed and will be reported to the authorities;
• use the AI features to produce hateful, violent, defamatory or otherwise unlawful content, or to mislead people about who is writing to them;
• probe, overload or attack Gancio, get around its limits or security, or access other people's data;
• resell or copy Gancio, or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, with notice where practical.

8. Data processing on your behalf

For the personal data of your contacts that you keep in Gancio, you are the controller and we are your processor. These terms form our data processing agreement (in line with Article 28 GDPR):

• We process that data only to provide Gancio, on your documented instructions (your use of the product and these Terms), unless the law requires otherwise.
• People who work on Gancio are bound by confidentiality.
• We apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy.
• You authorize the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy; we will tell you about changes in advance through the Privacy Policy, and you may object by ending your use of Gancio.
• We help you answer data subject requests and meet your security, breach-notification and impact-assessment obligations, as far as reasonable given what Gancio does.
• We notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data.
• When you delete data or end the agreement, we delete your content, apart from limited backups kept for a short period and records we must keep by law.
• We make available the information needed to demonstrate compliance, on reasonable request.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the data you store and the messages you send, and for informing your contacts as required.

9. Plans, payments and limits

• Gancio has a free plan and paid plans. The prices and limits of every plan (for example contacts, workspaces, AI generations and AI-read import rows) are published on our pricing page and shown in the app before you subscribe.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and handles taxes and invoices. Team plans are billed per seat.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable.
• We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Gancio available and your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features; if we remove a significant paid feature, we will tell you in advance.

11. Export, deletion and ending the agreement

You can stop using Gancio at any time. You can export your contacts and companies from the app, and download all your data from Settings → Account → Download your data: a ZIP file with your account, profile, memberships, the data of your workspaces and your attached files, which we also email to you and which stays available for 7 days.

You can delete your account yourself from Settings → Account → Delete account, after typing your email and confirming your password (or signing in again with Google). This deletes your account, your personal workspace and every team where you are the only member, with all their data and files. In a team with other members, the records you created stay with that team, because they belong to its organization; records assigned to you become unassigned. If you own a team that still has other members, transfer ownership first. Deleted data disappears from our backups after a limited period. If you cannot use the app, write to contact@blanketbyte.com.

We may end or suspend the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if required by law.

12. Intellectual property

Gancio, its software, name and logo belong to us. These Terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

13. Disclaimers

Gancio is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about its accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose, nor about the results of your sales activity.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business or lost data (please keep exports of anything important), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Gancio in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live. If you have a problem, please write to contact@blanketbyte.com first: we would much rather fix it than argue about it.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published here with its date at the top; for material changes we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Gancio after that means you accept the updated Terms.
